+ Why do other countries hate us? \\ 11.19.06
A lot of people wonder why other countries in the world hate the United States. I think I figured it out the other day.
I was watching SNL last week and a McDonalds commercial came on and this girl was eating this sandwich and her bf wanted it. All of a sudden she runs off trying to tease him for her McRib sandwich and he’s like “Come on!“, and she’s like “Uh Uhhh” and starts smiling. End commercial, cue Mcdonalds music and at the end of the commercial underneath the McDonalds arches it says: http://www.mcrib.com.....
That’s right, the McRib sandwich has its own website…
There are Fortune 500 that don’t have websites, and the McRib sandwich has one.
What makes things worst is the idea that at sometime in some executive boardroom people were talking about this in great detail…proposals were made and money was actually spent on this peice:
“You know Bob there are a lot of fat asses out there who want to know what exactly goes into the McRib”
“Really?“
“Yeah. We need to get on this man, I saw we put up a website…people will flock.“
And since I’m weird I ended up going to the website to check it out and I found out it has nothing to do with the McRib! It’s just a flash website featuring the girl running around in the freakin’ commercial!
If you also have no life please check out http://www.mcrib.com, and if the site with the girl dancing at the McRib rock concert (wtf?!?) makes sense to you please let me know.

Everyone and their mom has a blog. I hopped on the bandwagon. Hopefully I can use this to update my comedy schedule and put up funny/interesting things I see and learn along the way. So far I have a couple of random posts and things I want to talk about so here goes nothing.
