Oh snap son! This is one of the few times I wish I lived in Cleveland.
From Pitchfork Media:
“Jay-Z will continue his spate of shows in support of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign with an appearance at the Q (aka Quicken Loans Arena) in Cleveland on October 29 [via Rock & Roll Daily].
Hosted by basketball superstar, awkward dancer, and friend of Soulja Boy LeBron James, the Last Chance for Change rally is a free event aimed at encouraging early voting. The rally is open to all Ohio residents, and tickets can be obtained from Ohio Campaign for Change offices across the Cleveland area.“
Oh and in other news, Hov is set to release Blueprint 3 on December 2nd. Why not the auspicious date of December 4th Hov?
Until I realized this was a mass email. I was this close to thinking I was part of the power 3 Michelle. I guess not.

To the way I write my jokes:
Wasn’t a huge fan of this week’s SNL with Sarah Palin, although the Palin Raps video was pretty funny:
Wish they could have followed up Samberg’s impression of Mark Wahlberg a little better. It was dead on last week:
Had a great time at this year’s Standup for Diversity. The Baltimore/DC standup scene and comics are great. If you live in the area definitely check out John McBride and Seaton Smith.
The Roots featuring Lil’ Wayne-A Millie Live.
As the world finds itself mired in a terrible ‘financial crisis’ some parties feel the best way to deal with it is to either A. Ridicule the situation, or B. Ridicule those effected most by the situation. I personally agree with the later. As does Woot.com, one of Inc. Magazine’s ‘500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies’. According to Tech Crunch they’re in hot water over their recent line of AdSense ads which pop up when you search for “GOOG” (Google’s Nasdaq symbol):
“Before you jump out of that window, why not spend your last remaining dollars at Woot?“ and “Losing your House? Without that mortgage to pay, now you can buy more of our junk!“

I’m not a huge fan of Woot’s ‘one a day’ products, but their marketing is genius! Also, considering I didn’t have any stock in Google it makes it that much funnier (Let’s be honest at $322 a share I still can’t afford them, so kudos Woot—stick it to ‘em).
But Microsoft’s new ‘I’m a PC’ ad campaign is hot:
