Was recently sifting through my backpack and came upon this sweet business card from my NACA trip in Nashville where I met my good friend Duke.
Duke, who coordinates events at NACA, threw parties in his hotel room for all the performers and staff during the five day extravaganza in Nashville, TN. He’d stock his hotel room with all the goodies needed to get a hotel party crackin’: nacho machine, slushee machine, pizza oven, and mini cooler for frozen goods. Of course word eventually got out and belligerent frat guys would constantly try to crash the party. Duke would nonchalantly pull them to the side and whisper ‘Listen guys, the party is full right now but here’s my card; give me a call tomorrow and I’ll be happy to let you know what time the party is’.
Shortly thereafter they’d happily leave the hotel room and look down five minutes later to see Duke’s calling card:

Classic.
Hello internet friends!
It’s been a while and I haven’t blogged for a hot minute; as you can see from the left hand side of the page I’ve been visiting a college or university near you! You’re probably thinking, ‘But Hasan, I live in New York and you have yet to come to my large public/private university. Why?‘’; that’s because I don’t go to major metropolitan cities you silly goose! Why play New York or Boston when you can rock out in Dohlenga, Georgia or Kirsville, Missouri? For those of you who’ve been following me on Twitter, you’ve been getting the run down on what I’ve been up to during the early stages of the NBC College Tour. I’ll post the pictures with the play by commentary of what I see along the way here soon.
Side note; I keep watching this promo for the NBA Playoffs. Oh the memories!
